Sno-Cone Picnicby alanfreedComment by Swashbuckler: Nice, but a bit dark picture. The snow really confuses the light sensors on cameras. The snow looks very good, but the background, not so. Do you have the ability to spot meter? (It might help) 7 Swash |

Objects In Mirror Are Closer Than They Appearby alanfreedComment by HBunch: It's a pretty nice shot, but alone, it's not really funny. With the title is is kind of funny. I'm being pretty laid back with that, so not a huge deal. The focus and clarity are good. I think that the crop is too tight on the right. I'd personally like to see those last few lashes. Those are usually the most impressive, and longest, and I think that it would enhance the good focus to see those crisp lashes. Lighting looks good for the shot. i like the catch lights. Nice detail. Good luck in the challenge. |

Sno-Cone Picnicby alanfreedComment by mariomel: I finf the contrast a little too much in this pic. The tree in the foregroung just blends into the background evergreens too much. Nice use of lines in this pic. |

Sno-Cone Picnicby alanfreedComment by karmat: Excellent job at keeping the snow white! This shot is composed well, I think, and I like the high contrast of this shot, but I'm afraid it is causing some loss of details in the tree and background. |

Sno-Cone Picnicby alanfreedComment by justine: Usually I like stark.......not to say I don't like this....I do. Less is more often. I guess the compostion is not to my liking. Maybe if you had moved hard left? No, see I wasn't there so how do I know. I like. 8points. |
