Interesting catch. You could have brought the colours up with some processing. Try manipulating the levels in photoshop or a similar program, or at least just increasing the contrast.

Here's what I got with a little bit of playing around: //lisa3d.org/images/photos/dpc/pisky2.jpg. It's grainy, but the colours are stronger.
