great lighting. prolly a little sharp for Amber's liking :) that's a whole lot of skin detail available there...sometimes a little softness never hurt.

if this were an open challenge, I'd tell you to dodge her eyes a little so highlight them. obviously one of her strong points.

very nice capture of her expression. great shot.

Beautiful portrait. The detail is superb and your B&W convertion is excellent. Wonderful B&W that looks like it's a real print. I know you'd be limited with what you can do with Basic Editing, but I think if you are processing it again, introducing a hint of grey to the collar would help balance the tones even more. Right now when you are looking at her eyes, you are aware of the collar.
