A Toasty Tributeby alanfreedComment by e301: I beleieve bod used a blue flourescent tube to light his original, and i think this sufferes in comparison mainly because of the blue part of the light. The important thing about that, for me, was the balance of the internal and external light in the shot, and the use of a tube light meant that he was able to get those elongated reflections in the surface of the toaster, which is unfortunately a missing element from this shot: and its remarkable the impact that small a detail makes. |
