Playstationby MelethiaComment by Jedusi: Ah - again with the juxtapositions and visual tensions.
Two characters.
Both sit at ninety degrees to one another.
Different ages - one young, one older.
One in shorts and sandles - one in a suit.
One absorbed by a flashing screen - one refined and elegant.
We know so little about these two - no name, no pack drill . . but there is still a story waiting to be told. One that can at least be hinted at or have a sketchy outline drawn by rudimentary observation.
You could have a whole short story competition just based on this one picture.
My only wonder is whether the title should be ammended a tiny bit to something like 'Playstation Generation' ? just to further reinforce the differences. |

Gull crossingby MelethiaComment by Jedusi: You know Deb - I do miss your titles and PoV's :- )
There is an inheritant unforced quirkiness, and singularity of thought that marks out your style which is always refreshing. |

On streets of goldby MelethiaComment by Jedusi: Lovely shot - rich in colour and movement, with a whole carried question of who is pushing the bike ? Are they young or old ? Male or female, do they have shopping on the back or a kiddies seat ? And where are they going ? or maybe coming from ? Work ? Home ? Out to meet friends ? Are they in a rush ? Are they excited - full of dreams to share and happy crazy plans fighting in their head - wanting to spill out to a bigger audience ?
The gold colour lifts this and gives a rich positive feel to the whole narrative process . .
Aother of your shots Deb that if people take the time to look at and ponder they get drawn into a whole world of wondering and enjoyment.
Very nice. |

To danceby MelethiaComment by tanguera: It is simply impossible to take a bad picture of a dandelion. This negative opens a whole new world of wonderful, exposing the marvelous detail of the insertion point, usually unseen due to its darkness. Bravo. Oh, and front page. |
