Mother and daughterby MelethiaComment by Lydia: I don't know how I missed this during voting, Deb.
I think the image is wonderful. The clouds are fabulous.
I think the title gave you some trouble, since to the uninformed, this would look like Mom is leaving her daughter behind, and the daughter is sad.

Mother and daughterby MelethiaComment by colorcarnival: I like this - it's so very natural. Love the colortone. I also love how the couple in the distance are kind of framed by Sophia and mom. Was that planned or did you see it after the shot was taken? |

Mermaidby MelethiaComment by aliqui: I'm with everyone else here. That hand cracks me up. I just want to reach up and shake it. I think you made the right choice if you were going for score. The clouds in the other are really interesting. |

Mother and daughterby MelethiaComment by bspurgeon: Originally posted by ubique: Intersecting orbits. I suppose that's what mother-daughter relationships are: eternally intersecting orbits. Lovely thoughts. Thank you. |
Great interpretation. Ironically, it's this aspect of the composition that prompted the snapshot comments. Thank you Deb!
