Staccato stilled; bass line lingersby MelethiaComment by Louis: I like the composition and colour of this image. This is one of the kinds of pictures I really like: distant vanishing point, with almost a lonely kind of feel to it. Nicely executed. If you think it has too much USM, you can try to reduce the "haloeing" effect of USM by slowly increasing the threshold. |

Delightfully Psychotic Cyclistsby MelethiaComment by Louis: A great image, well captured. It's a little soft, though, especially for an action/sports picture like this. I gave it a five for these reasons, and because it doesn't scream "movie poster" to me (sometimes I need to be yelled at). ;) Overall, a nice image, with vibrant colour and a fantastic crop. |

Mission San Jose, founded 1720by MelethiaComment by Louis: The wonderful view of those arches make this picture great. You've selected a great composition using them, and the central doorway arching up into the composition from below really gives it a great feel. It might have been best to shoot "up" more, avoiding a lot of the ground, which is likely too flat and unintersting for this image. It could be said that the ground is a nice contrast to the way the image is composed above. A great photograph, congratulations. |

Nice finish with this one. I like your composition choice here, but the lighting seems a bit off. I copied this one and looked at some possible adjustments. I tweaked the curves just a bit with an S shape and it did wonders for the darks in the photo. It gave it some much needed contrast. Very nice capture, and with a little work would ahve surely drawn a 6+. |

Cannon Coverby MelethiaComment by bfox2: Hehe I get it! What is that like a 52mm canon...? I can't tell if the canon is really small or the woody is really big! Ok I'm leaving now |

Cannon Coverby MelethiaComment by sherpet: Now this is clever......very clever, as I am not a lover of "Woodies", but this is good..... Next time clean out the dust in between the sections of woodies body, and it would be perfect..... |
