Very nice play of light and shadow. You seem to really excel at these types of shots. The colors add alot of interest along with the brightness of the stairs. I really love how the darkness at the bottom left matches up to the darkness at the top right, really great symetry (spelling?). We'll have to start calling you the goddess of shadows, LOL!

Nice use of leading lines, leading into the fog, into nothing, into desolation....well done! That lone tree adds to the photo, too, gives us just a little bit more to look at.

I've glanced at all the thumb nails and this one jumps out at me. Both a mental and a physical place. Most people, coming up on this scene, would have walked right by searching for a 'lone tree' or a person to put in the image. This 'empty' scene says so much more. thank you. 10
