Light fixture high contrastby MelethiaComment by Lozza: This definitely works as high-key. The colour version is a little dull, the b&w from camera has some drama in the mix with the clouds (you could probably push the levels to make it 'pop' more), but this one... perfect. I think you could also comfortably crop a bit more from the top without affecting the balance in the comp too much.
Great experiment with the different techniques. I like your style :) |

First, thanks for the description and the image links. :)
I really like this, and I think it improved in each step: color->B&W, B&W original->this version. This really grabs my eye.
Of course, your nice off-center composition was there throughout. |

Abstract compositeby MelethiaComment by hanneke: did you try to rotate and flip canvas so the apples are all in the middle of the image?
the fact you put the fruits on a mirror really works in this collage, and the different colors look great! |

Abstract compositeby MelethiaComment by elsapo: I like this, its very contemporary and could see it in a wall in those modern apartments :) also the color combinations work well together ;) |

Relaxing Linesby MelethiaComment by Kelli: Trading post...
Beautiful lines Deb! I love that there are just so many to look at. The wood floor plank lines lead you in. Then you sort of follow up the door frame lines and back towards the front. Then up and down the molding pieces and land on the rockers! Pure genius! |

Cute idea, but not one of your better executed ones. You usually have such an eye for the shadows but these seem to have gotten away from you. The reflection is good but the double reflection detracts a bit. I just looked at your notes and the other versions. The colorized versions are beautiful! You should have went with one of them! |
