interesting shot, I cant lie and say its my favourite of yours in the B&W challenge, but what I can say is that I love the fact that a real photographer can see beauty in perhaps the most unexpected places. Your railway station shots always get that across to me and this one does too

I was about to agree that a touch more depth would have added something, then I looked again. I realized I like it as is; there is a slight imperfection in in-focus area of the whatzamacallit, and the light, shadows and tones at that point are excellent. The focus leads you right to it, just like it should. When I stopped looking to make suggestions, and just looked, there was an awful lot to see. Nice.

Nice study of light and shadow. Just a hair deeper dof would have worked for me to get the whole whatever-it-is in focus while still keeping the backgruond blurred out. Very nice.

i like this one. i like the curves of the ramp. the floor looks so smooth and you also managed to get good detail and lighting on the barrel which looks like it might be in a darker part of the pic.
