Stairs, lights, birdby MelethiaComment by sherpet: Awesome leading lines and perspective here, Deb.....
It really does lead one right into the image.....
So much to see, yet, it does not look busy..... I like it. |

Stairs, lights, birdby MelethiaComment by SandyP: Ahhhh, I had to look for the bird, but I'm glad I found it. It adds much interest. I love the lines and angles of this photo. All the shades of grayscale make this such a perfect black and white photo.

Gothic, take twoby MelethiaComment by yanko: Hmm. I guess I'm in the minority. I much prefer the other version. I think the reason the other version isn't getting it's fair due is because of the size restrictions at DPC. I'd love to see that one printed huge. This one is ok and certainly focuses more on the people. However, if that was your intent you should have shot it landscape rather than going with a patchwork crop.
Btw, I do love the b/w and the distortions! |

Hotel lobbyby MelethiaComment by violinist123: Actully don't care for the blown out doorway, other than that this is a very slick image. The barrel adds a point of interest that sits well with the arhitectural details dominating the rest of the shot. Good work. |
