Weird...prior to this post I had no idea who Edward Hopper was. But between this post and your photo, Hopper's "Nighthawks" painting was the very first thing that came to my mind. Thanks to Deb, Andrew and Google I'm now a little bit more educated.

Hmmm...is the train rolling in? Seeing how they all seem to be looking at something really gets me curious. Kind of like the old trick of staring up at the sky and then watching strangers trying to figure out what you're looking at. Never been to Cologne, is this one of the old style stations where the trains have to back out?

there is something i like a lot about this picture, not sure exactly what tho. has a nice feel to it. beautiful light and colours definitely, the composition is great as well, may be the little doggie looking up to his owner and the dynamic between the two. i don't know, but i do like this a lot.

Cool angle, and meets the challenge quite well. You've made it look like it's just a large flat panel, instead of a building. Love how the reflected sky seems to simply continue the background sky. Congrats on a top 20!
