Pink drive byby MelethiaComment by Skyarcher: If I had not seen where this was taken, it could easily have been anywhere. I think most towns have area's like this. I was thinking more of a small town, this is a mechanics garage, and the guy sitting is waiting for his car.
I do like this image, blurry drive-by shot or not. :) |

Pink drive byby MelethiaComment by annig: I think you caught a lot more than just a blurry image here...there is a story, especially given all that's going on in the middle east currently. this photo strikes a tone of despair, yet the cheerful rose colored building gives one hope! good for you for getting out there & giving it a whirl. |

Pink drive byby MelethiaComment by krnodil: It's the strong color contrasts that give this interest for me, so sharpness isn't necessary. I don't know how effective this would be, but if it were mine, I might try cropping off the left side, almost up to the seated man, in order to use both subjects as "bookends" in the composition - just to see what it looks like. |

Pink drive byby MelethiaComment by Louis: It is reminiscent for me of a drive-by shot, and maybe works less for me because of it... :/ But it begs a closer look, and a study of the figures and their actions, and what each is doing, and so seems more important for me regarding story... which is a crucial element of "focused blur" for me... |

Pink drive byby MelethiaComment by roz: i really like the posture of the guy sitting down .. the just about hopeless feeling i'm getting from him .. it goes so well with the blur and the general look of disrepair .. the pink paintwork & the blur just heightens this somehow .. dont ask me why !! :) |
