SFC K and friendsby MelethiaComment by colorcarnival: I cannot even begin to imagine what all that sand does to your eyes (and your camera! lol). As I always say, kudos to you for what you do, and for braving conditions like these! |

Sheepby MelethiaComment by colorcarnival: Great perspective with the never ending desert in the background. What the heck do these sheep graze on? |

Donkey and sheepby MelethiaComment by colorcarnival: lol what friends you have to drive off the beaten path like this.
Where's the manger and camels? lol looks like a Christmas scene at the beginning of preparations.
So the poor donkey was tied off to something? Poor thing - look at how it's looking at you (to rescue it!) Very interesting to see these animals to hold their own in the heat and against the wind. |

The 'burbsby MelethiaComment by JuliBoc: Love it. The giants (with the huge spiderweb) standing in the background, the town along a single road, and especially the very subtle neutral shades. |

March of the power linesby MelethiaComment by SandyP: Ohmygoodness! How COOL! And they say there's no scenery over there. Just goes to show tho what the touch of a master can do to any scene.
The blur gives those indusrial looking powerlines an ethereal look.

March of the power linesby MelethiaComment by cgino: I love this a lot! I look down those rows upon rows upon rows of towers and lines fading into the distance, then my eye jumps back to the sharp tower in the foreground. Fantastic composition! |

March of the power linesby MelethiaComment by pcody: Sorta of funny. Kuwait+middle east=oil, but look at all these power towers. They use that much electricity?
It looks like a sketch. The haze gives a good depth to the picture. Some of the most dramatic pictures I've ever seen have been taken in dust/sand storms. |
