I like the harsh contrasts between his shadowed head and the bright windshield. The light on his profile makes a nice line to follow from up to down.

It looks like most of the buildings have no rooves (I guess the American plural is "roofs"), but it's good to see that there's farming activity going on.

Really a GREAT portrait/candid, Deb. I love his eyes. The use of neg space to his right and the tight crop works to really make us concentrate on just his eyes, nose and mouth. I always heard "don't cut off someone's chin" but it works just fine here, as it's balanced with how you cropped along his forehead. I'm a huge fan of landscape oriented portraits anyway. I like that he has a semi-smile and kind expression.

Compositionally, this has great lead-in line of view, from the main subject in the foreground to the ones more in the distance. Did you desaturate all but the sunglasses. This is a favorite of mine. Maybe a little color to the sky.
