In progressby MelethiaComment by Ann: Hi Deb,
I think this is actually a much better than average photo, entered in the wrong challenge. It doesn't really say "new" to my American brain.
As far as the image goes, since you couldn't take it at a different time of day, I think you could get a lot by using levels to make the midtones (a lot) darker. the image isn't really overexposed, the highlights and shadows are in the right place, but overall, the image is too bright.
The other thing would be cropping off the bottom "empty" portion. It isn't really adding anything to the shot, and just sucking my attention away from the important bits. |

Cell 1by MelethiaComment by undieyatch: I would imagine mold is notorious near these showers. A visually subtle, but appropriate overlay, for this excellent photo. |

Cell 1by MelethiaComment by roz: hey deb .. hope you're well ..?? ..
obviously you're real clean tho .. these amazingly luxurious shower cell facilities look like ppl would be falling all over themselves in an effort to be first to SK1 for their daily ablutions !!!!! .. now i'll have to check the spelling of ablutions coz it doesnt look right ..
one minute later .. nah .. its right .. weird .. who uses the word ablutions nowadays .. or the word nowadays .. now i'll have to check that one too .. it looks strange as well .. nahhhh its right too ..
anyway .. enough blathering on ..
love the combination of the mould and the obviously pristine shower cell and stuff !! .. the desat and the added green is excellent ..
you should get them to print it out and hang it in there .. ppl would be assuming that either the place got a real good clean or that the photograph got mould on it ... either way it would confuse them ...
well maybe that wouldnt be such a good idea .. !! :) ... |

Half a Hummerby MelethiaComment by Jedusi: I think this has the potential to be a really 'in your face' aggressive sort of picture - especially as Hummmers can look quite menacing anyhow.
The only problem is I'm not sure how to do it :- )
Post it over on PPC, I bet someone there could come up with something. |

Cell 1by MelethiaComment by Jedusi: Hey who even needs the shower ?
You could get your butt in one sink, your feet in another and have someone pour a jug of water over your head - sheer luxury . lol.
Tell me that 'SK1' doesn't really mean sink 1 . . sink 2 etc they have labelled the sinks ??!!
Is that in case you can't find them ? or are they in code so if any insurgents break in they won't know where they are ? |
