4.52 Coot and cobblesby MelethiaComment by Stiger: Great detail and I love the lines of the brick path. And the depth of field works perfectly to keep the viewer's eye just where it needs to be. |

4.52 Coot and cobblesby MelethiaComment by jasonlprice: I very much like the leading lines that the brick create and their gentle s-curve. The tones of the bird (to long of legs for a coot?) is wonderful too. Great subject placement. This must be a shore bird of some sort with those long legs? |

Walkiesby MelethiaComment by levyj413: Still love this shot. :) Everyone's pointing away, no one seems to be interacting ... and the B&W seems just right. |

Jailedby MelethiaComment by SandyP: I actually am kind of with you on the nose being in focus part. It makes it look like she is poking her nose right out of your computer at you :)
Lately, I have been so bored with "rule" pictures and have wanted to daringly do things that just don't follow all the rigid rules. For me. . .this works!

4.52 Coot and cobblesby MelethiaComment by SaraR: I like this very much - the composition is soothing in the way the eye is gently led. The ripples in the water seem like a natural extension of the lines formed by the cobbles. I particularly like the graduation of light from the bpttom left to the top right. Lovely. |
