Tree and moonby MelethiaComment by undieyatch: The dirt needs more contrast, but posterization is evident in the sky
and increasing contrast will not help, toning might cover it up some. Your running out of data.
Make your b&w conversions in 16 bit even if you are starting with an 8 bit jpeg.

7.52 Hands on hipsby MelethiaComment by pineapple: The visual puzzle is not immediately attention grabbing - but when you do start to look for that bra, for instance, then you start seeing all sorts of things. I am reminded of those children's picture books in which there is, say, a little mouse on every page and it becomes a game to find it and in doing so one actually reads the book. Nice premium, Deb. |

8.52 Seeing them offby MelethiaComment by fixedintime: The two woman really make this street scene image. It is almost like they are saying please let me on. I'm glad you explained what was really happening. |

8.52 Seeing them offby MelethiaComment by twmax: Great image! The lines created by the train, and the people walking makes it feel like I'm being pulled into this photo. Yet another very good photograph from you. |

Tree and moonby MelethiaComment by nikolaos: It's a matter of taste, I would go for a little bit more but that just me. A way to increase constrast especialy in b&w is to sharpen the image with small amount and big radius. I'm in a laptop now and I use gimp under linux, usualy use an amount of .50 and radius of 50 in a second layer and then adjust opacity accordingly (ditto about the equivalent in ps).
btw. the small moon, the big tree and the small tree create a quite an antithesis in this picture. great framing. |

8.52 Seeing them offby MelethiaComment by pawdrix: Did I ever tell you the story when the big, fat-ass German Conductor kicked me off the train because I was litterally 1 second late for my train due to the fact that my train was 25 minutes late into the station. Thanks for the memory ;P |
