King Ludwig's Mansionby MelethiaComment by BAMartin: This is breathtakingly stunning. Postcard, perhaps, but there is a good reason for that. I love that a bridge was built over the gorge, makes you wonder if it was specifically built for the view of the castle. |

King Ludwig's Mansionby MelethiaComment by dleach: I liked his castle Linderhof (which is more like a mansion).
Also, did you ever check out the Texas Falkenstein castle during your stay in San Antonio? It is based off of a Ludwig design for a castle he never built.

King Ludwig's Mansionby MelethiaComment by colorcarnival: I got to a point where i was not even looking at titles any more. I just liked this for the overall presentation. The sky is beautiful, I love the lighting on the castle, and it's also cool to see the town/village in the background. Beautiful shot! |
