Onion Ringsby MelethiaComment by CNovack: Love how you placed the subject of your composition on the diagonal for adds interest to the eye. Love the reddish purple hues that just pop off the page - and it pops nicely off the surface of the wood cutting board. Lighting is excellent for it illuminates the red onions perfectly. Love the details that we can see in this photo. Focus is wonderful. Good job on this one 8. |

Evening Cityscapeby MelethiaComment by SandyP: 9:30pm! Man! I thought it got late in Texas in the summer! But that's great. It gives you time to get out after work and experience beauty and wonder like this. This is so amazing. I can't imagine why you are loving Germany so much :) Thank you for letting us enjoy it with you!

Onion Ringsby MelethiaComment by Jammur: nice macro study, but I don't get a feel for the dish.
Its a single ingredient, it doesn't say what it will become.
Its a 6 , but could have been an 8. |

No Left Turnby MelethiaComment by levyj413: Ha! Literalists, take that! :) Your notes, as always, add so much to the shot. And add me, again, to SandyP's "turning mundane into art" fan club. |
