No Left Turnby MelethiaComment by Jedusi: Didn't even realise this was one of yours - which is funny really because it is a typical quirky look on life.
Well spotted - and well captured with just the right title to set it off. |

Arched architectureby MelethiaComment by bassbone: Deb - After reading the thread on this in the forums, I now feel completely cheated and lost. How could you of all people resort to that fancy schmancy dodge and burn stuff? My faith in humanity is lost. I may never again look at art the same way.
I think we need to add an asterick next to this image (similar to the one that Barry Bonds needs to have next to his homerun totals). But since I can't figure out how to add an asterick, I guess I will just mark it as a favorite so I can remember the day my faith was lost.

Arched architectureby MelethiaComment by brownsm: Deb, great shot. I love the patterns of light on the floor. If you did indeed process the daylights out of it, you did a fantastic job since it doesn't look too processed! very well done! Message edited by author 2008-07-21 11:54:20. |

Arched architectureby MelethiaComment by Germaine: Amazing clarity and detail, especially that little nice in the wall at the end of the corridor. I love the processing. Great work. |

Godiva Darkby MelethiaComment by signal2noise: Black & white fits this image very well and the exposure is spot on. The store is pulling the viewer in through this dark abyss. The barely visible marquis above the window acts as bit of a tease and yields to the backlit sign inside of the shop that is more alluring and captivating. There are a lot of right angles at play - from the stone path to the 4 windows to the placard on the wall and many of the items inside the windows. These are, of course complemented by the circles in the poster center frame. The passerby adds life to the scene as the chocolatier inside is barely visible and continues his work unnaffected by what's going on in the darkness. A very engaging image. |

Arched architectureby MelethiaComment by Bear_Music: Processed the daylights out of it eh? I'd say "processed the daylight INTO it", but who's quibbling? Care to share the steps? Lovely work, Deb. |
