July FS alt editby MelethiaComment by colorcarnival: I personally like the dark clouds because they make the cathedral pop out from the background more. Plus my feeling was that the guy should have been highlighted and the brightness of the sky in your entry competes with attention that should have been given to him. My preference is this photo but in either case, it's a very cool moment that you have captured. |

Bench With a Viewby MelethiaComment by colorcarnival: What a fortuitous moment! I love how the guy on the bench is kind of balanced out by the people on the other side of the photo going up the stairs. Oh I see the other photo... going to that one now... |

Bench With a Viewby MelethiaComment by SandyP: Deb! This photo is FABULOUS! I LOVE everything about it, from the stunning architecture and cobblestone street -- to the human element of the guy sitting on the bench. I love the lighting. I guess there were too many Icelandic skies to compete with to give it the score it truly deserved. Your commenters were much closer to what it should have been -- but even they fell short in my opinion!

Büdingen 29by MelethiaComment by dsterner: looks like the house I stayed in with Tante Hildegard und Onkle Franz! They had a window basket though. ;) |

same for me. I have a bridge not far from me called a skewed bridge - I have no idea why. I'll have to shoot it sometime |
