Curtis 1264 edit 3by MelethiaComment by PGerst: I like this one the best for a few reasons:
1) The sunbeam is clearly exposing the boy, which makes this intersting. Perhaps a guardian light of some sort.
2) Since the tones of the pier are closer together, its much easier to follow and adds a strong sense of depth to the photo. In the color one, the different colors just add too much chaos to what is a natural direction of the pier and the pier becomes lost with the metal tint.
3) Finally, the details of the water are more clear. This gives a nice contrast to chaos below, order above. |

Curtis 1264 edit 2by MelethiaComment by PGerst: I'll be different. I'm not so sure I like the filter used here. In comparison to the B&W one, the cast seems to take something away from this. |

Bench editby MelethiaComment by tinky2: I expect to see things I've taken pictures of, like Half Dome or the Golden Gate Bridge, but a chair! I have pictures of this chair too!
I like this. Love the textures of the chair against the wall and tiles. |

Bench editby MelethiaComment by cgino: A nice picture to start with, but what an improvement! Although the colors are still soft, the whole image really 'pops' for me now. I love the myriad of textures in the image. |

2.52 To workby MelethiaComment by kteach: This is lovely! The main subject looks like quite a character, and clearly focused on something important! The processing gives it a classic feel, and except for man with the bold lettering across his shirt, the rest of the photo looks like it could have been taken years ago as well. Nicely done! :) |

Winter tree 3732by MelethiaComment by Jedusi: Very nice simple shot - very easy on the eye leading the viewer slowly into the tree line and the greta shape of the leafless tree against the skyline. |
