Strollby MelethiaComment by Ecce_Signum: ok Deb, this is the 4th shot of yours I've seen with the LB and whilst I liked the other 3 THIS is the reason why I (and others) said the LB would suit your photography 'style'. The word Epitomy springs to mind but might just be a little rash as I'm sure we will be seeing more (much more) of the same from you girl! |

Downby MelethiaComment by Ecce_Signum: Originally posted by ubique: The sweet spot (like the G spot) is difficult to locate and hardly worth the effort. Time spent searching for it is time spent neglecting the subject's more compelling attractions. Like in this photograph, where the story is about the pleasing convergence of shapes and colours, and their relationship with the less explicit human form. It's a very interesting and rewarding shot. The true LB afficionado cares little for 'nailing' the focus, and is instead more pleased to just flirt with focus. Both those spots are more the preoccupation of amateurs. |
lol, wrong forum for my comments methinks however I wonder if the title helped send Paul into this rather revealing analogy? |

Musicianby MelethiaComment by Ann: For me, the Nik Silver Efex seems to work better on this shot, maybe because it's a lower contrast shot to begin with. It's a great capture, the kids entranced, and all the adults around totally ignoring the magic. |

3.52 Saturday shoppingby MelethiaComment by Ann: I like the shot. The shadow on the post is very cool. It looks like the guy on the left is singing. I'm still thinking about the processing. It looks a little HDRish for my tastes. But I tend to like really hyper realistic stuff, so I'm probably not the person to ask. |

Pigeon graffitiby MelethiaComment by Germaine: I've found that when I think I've figured out the focusing, I'm still off. I'm getting a bit frustrated with LB. You've figured things out -- at least in this shot. 8P
I like the red on that trash can. I wish I knew what it says. |
