Having lived on the mighty St.Lawrence river and not the ocean when I look at "Tyrone" iced in I hope that she sees a gentle thaw and not a fast thaw with strong currents and winds. The strenght of the current in the river could push the ice to shore and it would pile 15-20 feet high overnight.

The lighting and the reflections on the ice are fabulous. I really love this.

Congrats on the blue, Bear. It's a great image to reward you for your intrepid outing. You were probably blue with cold yourself by the time you got back to shelter. I can't even imagine such cold!
