"...for every tatter in its mortal dress."by Bear_MusicComment by PenelopeK: What this image actually shows is Robert's attentiveness! I had been working for about 4 hours on a hot afternoon cutting down and digging up shrubs and moving a bunch of plants to make room for a shed we are getting. Robert's poor balance (related to the same issue as his hearing loss) makes doing things that requires bending over a problem for him so he cooks and I do the yard work! Anyhow after he saw how hot and tired I was he went and got damp paper towels and wrapped them around my head to help me cool off!! Of course, being Robert he then saw a photographic opportunity. So yes, they were paper towels, but it wasn't as if he set out to stage it that way for the challenge shot. |

Cherish the Earth!by Bear_MusicComment by tanguera: Excellent message. Beautiful sunset. But it doesn't gel for me. The second line IS hard to find due to the color choice, and the sunset, while pretty, does not provide enough visual interest for em. |

Cherish the Earth!by Bear_MusicComment by JakeKurdsjuk: Just because textures are allowed it doesn't mean you have to use them. I assume you're trying to use them as evidence of earth-abuse but to me they're just distracting. |

Cherish the Earth!by Bear_MusicComment by MadMan2k: I like how you have the cheery, colorful lettering on top of the photo with a texture that makes it look like an old tattered and stained print. |

Energy now — No crash later! by Bear_MusicComment by aliqui: There's a really good chance I played a part in that barcode scanner getting into that store. Unfortunately, since that scanner is almost in the center of the photo and I worked for the company that made that scanner, that's all I see. My eyes keep springing back to it! In fact, I hold some hostility toward it. Rawr! |
