It's an interesting display of the fisheye lens, but some actual compositional elements would have made this a more interesting image; as it is, the eye is just drawn to the two upper corners in search of something less homogenous, and in those corners we just find distracting elements there that could have been omitted.

I had 5 images running for best in show and yours was one of them, somehow apart because of the intelligent use of dark hues. The picture has a silky feel - should the designer Issay Miyake see this he would turn it into one of his million dollar products.

What I love in this one, besides the wonderful grid and the texture of the bars, is that it's pretty much an optical illusion. For me, at least, the light just plays across the frame and the light and shadows seem to shift. Very nice.
