A terrific portrait beautifully set off by exciting and moody processing. There is tension between the overall grit and the milder portrait, genial and kind-eyed. There's even a halo effect going on. The time of day and the weather are active participants in the image. You've nailed a keen, provocative style.
Personal second favorite of the challenge.

I adore the POV! And it's a reminder to me that white doesn't always have to be bright in a photo. I like the darkness of this. I would have brightened it too much.

Would have like those branches not take up so much of the image it blocks the path of were his shovelling. In saying that I like the B&W convert good composition with him in the corner good detail
