Summer Marsh, Evening Ebbby Bear_MusicComment by Keith Maniac: Beautiful overall composition. The boat in the foreground adds so much to this image. I love the boat's lines, lighting, colors, the reflection in the water, and the tonal gradation of blue from the bow to the stern. As far as leading lines goes, I do feel that the "shoreline" leads my eye *away* from the boat, rather than *towards* it, but I suppose that it leads me into the rest of the picture. Is this bear_music? If not, I apologize. |

Summer Marsh, Evening Ebbby Bear_MusicComment by TooCool: This is an incredible almost shot, but there are several things that bother me about it. First, your blues look almost to blue and your greens though muted seem, somehow, almost to green. Somehow, you lost a great amount of detail in both the blues and greens. Makes me wonder if it was in the same process... The gradiation in the sky doesn't seem to be equal also. I love this composition, but for some reason it just don't feel real to me...

Before I hit your score. Please don't think this means I don't like your image. I just happen to see so much in the image that I can't help it... |

Summer Marsh, Evening Ebbby Bear_MusicComment by Hye5: A very serene image. What bothers me is that the line of the water disappears from view too soon, and you lose the impact of the leading line. |

Summer Marsh, Evening Ebbby Bear_MusicComment by banmorn: I'll take a chance and say bear...but I am usually wrong when I guess so sorry in advance. Hmmm Lines leading in reverse. Well they certainly do and it takes me some time to get used to it....my eye is always going right to the boat and great reflection so it is very effective in the use of the lines both to the boat and to scene in the background. One of my favorites and I hope it does well. |
