this is a great picture of an absolutely adorable subject, but for the life of me i can not relate it to the affluence challenge which was required to "Knock us out with your representation of material wealth" - so, i am just leaving you this comment and refrain from voting on it at all...

someone commented on me adding a subject that seemed unusual, so i probably should bite my toungue, because it was just part of my artistic impression... but i can't help but wonder why you threw the hand in there, especially in that area which had the most intriguing item in it. i think the scene as it stood was interesting, though the blur on objects that aren't moving is a little disconcerting, but perhaps that also added to the odd environment.

VERY NICE photo, but, it doesn't represent "material wealth" and that is what the instructions specifically called for. Still, great capture!!

Forget what I said, I've had an epiphany!! I was being too literal in looking only for economic representations of material wealth. Now, I can give this gem the full points it deserves. What a wonderful expression you captured. And the lighting highlights and shadows are very nice. Also, sharp as a tack. One of the nicest people pictures I've seen.
