rosie-staring.jpgby Bear_MusicComment by nova: Wonderful shot just as it is, Robert. Some aspects that I like are the paper-thin space between the baby's head and mother's cheek, and also the implied line from baby's mouth to eye to mother's lips and face... really gives a feeling of depth, and evokes the sensation that I am sitting right there, and that for a brief instant I have caught Rosie's attention. You know better than I do of the few technical flaws that may exist, but who gives a rip. Captivating photo, and one that I am sure will be cherished. |

rosie-staring.jpgby Bear_MusicComment by oOWonderBreadOo: I love this pic! Of course I love all images that tell a story and this one does just that. I don't know if I would do anything to it but I would see how it looked with the contrast lowered just a bit... hard to say. I never know how I'll like something before it's in front of me. adorable baby too :0)
... I like the crop!!!! wait- take out mommy's hand at lower left, then crop is perfect! Her expression is a great part of the image too! Message edited by author 2005-09-03 01:50:56. |

Darkness & Lightby Bear_MusicComment by Tammer: Pretty shot and great color capture of the sky and reflections. For me, I would have like to have seen the point of view either higher or lower so that the horizon wasn't dead center. |

Darkness & Lightby Bear_MusicComment by hyperfocal: Excellent composition & dramatic colors. There is too much Gaussian blur (or equivenent) in my IMHO. It is strong enough image to stand on its own without special effects. Great work otherwise. |
