I guess I can't complain about a 21st place finish, but I'd hoped that this one would go over 6 on title alone :-)

"It came to me in a flash of light...", I swear. It's a last-day entry, I was shooting for the late-night challenge, but I had to go with this concept. It could have been done a lot better. While this seems workmanlike to me, the lighting lacks punch and I was too tired & distracted to do it justice.

Wow - I've seen the whole frozen object thing done before - but never has it looked this good. The only thing is that its not immediately apparent that they're frozen - so some voters may not get it. That's a shame, because this is beautiful. 10.

It's odd how cool and warm colors contrast so much. The grass is somewhat reminiscent of flames licking at the far shore.

Very nice. I love the colors as they play on my sense of temperature in this shot. Very nice, I feel the cold from your vantage point but see the sun shinning on the foliage above making feel the warmth within the photograph.

Nice POV, great contrast and color.
