Nightfallby Bear_MusicComment by Prime_Time: Nice colors. I like it lots, one thing, I tried, since you have some great colors in your water, I used selective color and pull them up the beach more. To me it gave it some more pop. Them I just painted the sky back. Just and ideal

Nightfallby Bear_MusicComment by justin_hewlett: Simply beautiful. I like the foreground detail and the color. Also, great use of leading lines to lead the viewers eyes right to the sunset. |

Salt Marsh at Midsummer — June, 2002by Bear_MusicComment by Bear_Music: Originally posted by kenskid: Always near the top Bear...good job. Can't we do something about the 1,2,and 3 votes on great shots like this!?!?!? |
Thanx for the kind words. Check my "yellow" and "refractions" when they finish to see I'm most assuredly NOT always near the top :-)
As for the low votes, I don't see enough of them on this shot to bother me. Some people just don't like hyper-processing, which this most asuredly is. The colors have been goosed and manipulated to suit my vision of what the scene looked like, and they are what I call "hyper-real"; ditto the aggressive sharpening. It's not to everyone's taste. |
