Salt Pond, January 2007by Bear_MusicComment by jaysonmc: It's a simple shot, but I think that is what works so well here. The picture almost feels like a hand painted drawing. WOnderful variety of textures you used throughout the photo. I actually liked the textures in the top, but might have preferred them absent in the water. Not sure though. Good stuff. Swans & Marsh — Midwinterby Bear_MusicComment by JulietNN: nice capture here, I like the fact that the banks are in focus and not the trees, it gives oomph. The swans look like they are still juvinials, which is a clever shot as everyone has gone for pure white swans. I like this 9 |

Swans & Marsh — Midwinterby Bear_MusicComment by MaryO: Swans are nicely positioned in the frame relative to each other and colors are good. I think I would have cropped out everything above the bank to focus more on the swans and the reflections of the trees, which are very nice. |
