Nicely done Robert love the feel, is the lighting natural or did you use control points in sep 2

This is a nice image to begin with, but the processing adds a powerful emotional component to the scene.

Oh wow this almost has a Bates Motel feel. Love the rich deep tones. I really do need to upgrade from CS3. :)

I'm with you Robert, I'm loving the grain sliders in SEP2. Nice job BTW. I like the use of empty space.

Very fun use of the simplify, I love the little shapes in the grass. The overall effect is a very spooky one. I bet it was nothing like this in the original.

You know it's funny, I've never thought about doing Topaz Simplify in black and white. And then the SEP adds a whole new dimension. I really love how the combo looks together in this scene. The black and white really works great here.

Well, I live half a mile from this view:

This one's 2-3 miles east of there:

This area's 2-3 miles west:

But, see, I live on Cape Cod: Google Earth it: I live near the "elbow" on the south side. There's no part of Cape Cod that's more than a couple miles from the water, actually, except some parts at the very butt of it where it connects with the mainland, so we're lucky that way.

THIS shot, as it happens, was taken ON the mainland, looking TOWARDS Cape Cod; we were over there transacting some business that day.

So we're lucky, yeah :-)

The noise is added in SEP 2 — like a film grain selection, but I'm doing it without a preset, just grabbing what looks right. I like SEP 2 noise. I am getting tired of smooth.
