Dairy Deluxe - Too early AND Too Late

Comment by pa_cuthbert:
Honestly, I don't understand the picture. I know it says "Feb1st" as the opening date, but I'm not sure if a too late or early. The picture doesn't have that extra "umph" in it. It could be because it was too cloudy. Something in the composition doesn't work very well is what I'm trying to say. So for that I gave a 4.

That's some serious repetition. Great detail in the stacks, very nicely done.

Textures and lighting is interesting, but I think I'd shoot it from a bit of a different angle.

There is something so simple about this one, that causes me to like it a lot. It is a step away from the forboding factories plumming smoke, but is still very much industrial. Love the symmetry.

The ginkgo is the oldest living tree species, records reveal it has been growing on earth for 150 million years. Chinese monks are credited with keeping the tree in existence as a sacred herb. Good work and good luck on this preserving image showing its intricacy and beauty. -8-

love the warmth of the light gives the entire image a softness that works well with the subject (not saying its not sharp - it is - different softness:)) Great study with great texture and depth. 8 - good luck in the challenge!
