Day 1 - At The Rodeoby TDCollinsComment by krnodil: Great action capture and the b&w keeps things focused on the fabulous posture of your subjects - also like the inclusion of that boy at the top left. |

Day 8by TDCollinsComment by Alicia: Gorgeous landscape well captured. I like the sepia on it. Don't know that I would have gone with that black frame. It seems a little overpowering. |

Day 7by TDCollinsComment by JerseyGenie: Love the flopped away ear. Just like a kid she ignored your suggestion to fix it.

Day 6by TDCollinsComment by CNovack: What a wonderful happy expression on your mother's face!!! It is that wonderfully joyful & warm expression that light's up her face and you cannot help but to smile back. This is a wonderfully done portrait well suited for B&W presentation - although the color version might also be a wonderful one too with what I think is a red hat and what I imagine a colorful jacket to match the wonderfully warm, vibrant and happy personality that the model projects. Sharpness of detail is wonderful here from the textures on her hat to clarity of the eyes behind the glasses to the pattern on her jacket. My only critique here is that the feather boa/fur lined collar tones get lost in the tones of the background -they are too similiar. Perhaps playing around with channel mixer, a little dodging and/or playing with the brightness/contrast levels would make it stand out more. |

Day 7by TDCollinsComment by alexjack: Wow, this one is fantastic, didn't see it before, but definately one of my favorites of the challenge thus far. Brilliant processing, teh major exception is her eyes which look a bit weird. Excellent high key though and great preservation of detail there.

Day 6by TDCollinsComment by bdenny: Is she one of those purple-red-hat ladies? They're a cult, ya know. LOL
This is a lovely, carefree portrait though...I love the hint of light from her top. |
