Good technical skills, but the building dominates the scene. A wider view may have provided more of a sense of landscape and opened the scene up. As it, I find the composition quite claustrophobic.

A really nice scene and beautifully processed. I would like to see a little more of the right side and less of the left to really emphasis the lighthouse.

I really like the monochromatic look of this picture, But I reckon if you cropped a bit of the sky off, it would strengthen the position of the light IMHO

Wow! In my opinion, this photo stands out head and shoulders over the others. The exposure is spot on perfect and the scene just doesn't get more breathtaking! I am so pulling for this one to do be in the top 3!

Thanks everybody for your kind comments. I visit Yosemite quite often each year and take many pictures each time I go. When going through all my raw images of Yosemite that I shot in 2009 looking for something I wanted to use in the Best of 2009 challenge this one popped out at me. I did my edits and submitted. It wasn't until I went to my profile page I realized that I had already used this same image in the Ansel Adams challenge an entire year earlier. I immediately wrote and asked to be disqualified. Just an honest mistake!
