This is a great idea, but it lookds a little too photoshopped. The contrast is too much, and there is a lot of grain in the photo also. I would've also tilted the photo a little to the left, as the soldier looks like he is falling over a bit.

Focus here is great on the ground, but not on the plant, and I think that it would work much better the other way around. Nice composition and idea though.
