Cool windby denitoComment by Skip: this view looks like it is full of potential, with the colors in the foreground, and the way the clouds and light can play across the background. what you need, though is a strong subject. by centering the windmill, you have made it the subject here, but it is too far away, and most of its detail blends in with the background. if you have access to this type of vista on a regular basis, you are in heaven! all you really need to do is work on composition, and you will be turning out some amazing work! good luck! |

Cool windby denitoComment by samtrundle: Image quality is a little down (the hills for example are a little pixelated) which hurts this image, but it's a good subject and composition is effective. |

Washed out Condoby denitoComment by Sailingduck: loss of detail because of too much contrast, too dark. An earlier or later time of day might have made the colors, brightness and contrast better. |

Birds Beachby denitoComment by Marcelo: The subject is very nice, but I think the composition could be better...maybe a better angle, one that we are not used to seeing. |

Cool windby denitoComment by ahaze: This has the potential, to me, to be a great shot. The centered composition of the windmill hurts a bit, and the noise in the sky does as well. The entire image feels a little odd, as if the processing is a little off somehow- too soft in places and too sharp in others. And this is just an aside- is there writing on the top of the hills on either side of the windmill?? |

Birds Beachby denitoComment by lcarterdavis: I think this would have worked better with less bg, as it is rather bleak and uninteresting, and sharper focus on the interesting wood and birds. |
