 Some levels and contrast adjustments. Sharpened.

In scenic photos sometimes I like to add something in different positions to bring more life to the scene. Draw the eye to cover the whole picture since a in a scenic picture the whole picture is the subject. Using the rule of thirds using the lower and upper third as well as leading in from the sides.

The subject is very nice, but I think the composition could be better...maybe a better angle, one that we are not used to seeing.

I think this would have worked better with less bg, as it is rather bleak and uninteresting, and sharper focus on the interesting wood and birds.
