Dusky Pulsating Cityby DigiFotoBuddyComment by blackenedwhite: CPTII, oi!
This shot burns the eyes, yeah?;p
It doesn't really fit that well in this particular challenge but still, it's a nice cityscape.
Wouldn't have the composition any other way, ang I guess a little sharpening wouldn't've hurt. Nice sky as well. |

Leaving the Cityby DigiFotoBuddyComment by GuGi: I very seldom browse dpc, I can see that I should! This is an excellent capture my friend, would have done great in a challenge, but maybe there was no challenge that fit. :) Some dpc'ers would just have entered any challenge, guess you're not that kinda guy :-)) |

Indulge into happinessby DigiFotoBuddyComment by accady: I like the true sense of happiness in the scene and the way it drives my attention from the glass of wine to the couple. I didn't like the extensive detail and the lamp in the background. |

Indulge into happinessby DigiFotoBuddyComment by puzzled: There are only two things that can criticize about this image: (1) I wish the teeth weren't so white (looks a little fake) and (2) The camera had been a bit to the right or left to avoid the lamp shade growing out of the woman's head. Otherwise, I think this is a truly gorgeous shot! I would love to be in this scene... food, comfort, beauty, wine, ... you've got it all. Is this you, Shail? Nice job! |

Indulge into happinessby DigiFotoBuddyComment by Kavey: Aaw, that's sweet! Not sure I like the idea of happiness being considered an indulgence - I consider it to be the central tenet of my life. Then again my whole life could be considered a luxury given that I'm within the subset of the human population that doesn't have to worry about food, shelter, water, health...
I like the toning you've used here and the cacaphony of different patterns and textures too - make the environment richer. In my top 20 this challenge. |

Naturally Textured - Take IIby DigiFotoBuddyComment by Gunnsi: CTP2 Gunnsi
First impression:
Good texture, good focus and frame. Placement of subject also good.
What can you do better?
Change the red colour to something more like the sea.
This is a major improvement on your previous entry. |
