Everything look still and peaceful but the sky imply of some action to take place.
I like this kind of photographs. They make me think of what's going to happen, how it will look afterwards.
Everything in this photo have basically the same shape, but every object has it's own uniqueness. Every house has a slightly different windows or roof shape, every boat has it's own angle and strings.
A photo I could sit and stare for hours and with every second that passes I find something new in it.

Actually someone did some sloppy quality control, because they take the wrong ones out even before they open. That's great news for us photographers though because it provides welcome breaks in the pattern.

The colors of the orange ones is really vivid, it's a beatiful kind. A little red flame licking with an orange afteglow and a yellow edge. Didn't need to do much saturation enhancing.

Those tulips look as if someone just drew those colors on them. and those two red ones right in my way... simply amazing!

This is practically the only memory I have of Holland, but I never saw it is such vivid colors before!

Wonderful composition! I really like this shot, though there's too much detail IMHO to call this a silhouette. Lovey shot with some great colors and excellent clarity.
