The lady with the dogby LevTComment by Sirashley: I think this shot is magnificent. Awesome DoF and the background almost has movement. Did you achieve this by turning the barrel of the lense when you shot this? Just curious cause I love the effect... Well done. 10! |

The lady with the dogby LevTComment by Lutchenko: absolutely love it.
A centered subject that really works.
For some reason the second I saw this my first thought was of Phan Thi Kim Phuc but then only seconds later it put me in mind of 1940s/50s Hollywood. This is a 10 from me |

The lady with the dogby LevTComment by Paul: The combination of elements produces an amazing effect - the grey (seemingly dusty) background almost suggests on war-torn landscape and then there is this figure walking her dog! I know that's not what this is, but that's what it suggests to me. Very compelling work. |

Mashaby LevTComment by Zigomar: Beautiful, both the girl and the photograph. I might be biased but she has that Slavic beauty. |

The lady with the dog - 2by LevTComment by Ecce_Signum: ooh, show this to the "its too central" and lensbaby hating numpties. This is excellent, almost like you cut and pasted high street subjects into a war torn background. I'll differ from other commenters (and yourself) and say I think the black blob actually adds interest to the shot and creates a sort of anchor with the women and dog. Can I say excellent again? |
