Cool processing with the desaturation but leaving the fruit red. I like the slow shutter effect with the smoke/fog. Lighting is outstanding combined with the smoke effect. Great picture.

Thanks for the tip about quicker shooting. I have noticed that in many of the storms in this area, that the bolts come at fairly regular intervals. For instance, if I count seconds between 1st and 2nd strikes, I have found that the 3rd strike will occur roughly at the same interval. I then adjust shooting to match that. If the strikes are coming at 15 sec intervals, I wait 12 sec or so after a strike to open the shutter. Sometimes you miss a bolt that comes in the interim, and have to restart the countdown, but the technique helps on the average.
