yes, it does endear me to the subject. but it does more than that. It's funny how a picture of a person taking a picture can be so much more than the picture being taken... just that one level of separation changes it completely. This photo says so much about how people relate to celebrity. How they love it and mock it at the same time, how it doesn't quite fit their lives.

I also enjoyed the few seconds it took me to make sense of this picture. In case you haven't noticed, I really really like this!
