End of summerby LevTComment by krnodil: Looks a bit like a realistic painting - has a sadness to it. Somewhat bleak view, bleakly viewed through a window pane design suggestive of prison bars. I like that you can see some part of the sill at the bottom, that it isn't completely obscured in shadow. |

you almost got it right :). But the actual names of these beautiful Russian wolfhounds (borzoi, in Russian) are Bala (after Balakirev) and Anya (presumably, after Anna Kerenina?). |

untitledby LevTComment by Germaine: Wonderful collection of stuff -- none of it seems to be related. I can look at this for a long time. The light on the white dog is fantastic. Nice processing, too. |

untitledby LevTComment by posthumous: Daddy was dragged away before he could put his other sneaker on. It never occurred to the agents that there might be dogs in the house, dogs depending on drug money, dogs depending on the failure of the rule of law just to survive. The agents have their suspect and their evidence. The house lies silent. The long day hints of its end, of the cold night to come. |

untitledby LevTComment by boysetsfire: i am sitting back listening to Rocky Votolato " portland is leaving"
"I'm a punch line who's punch-drunk
with my fist in a broken mirror / there's a party nearby / I can hear
laughter in the distance and it all comes clear / sounds to simple
love is the only answer / everything else is just a train wreck
I'm gonna stay up all night every night for the rest of my life / till
the lines around my eyes grow deeper and more defined / you might
ask me aren't you dead inside and so damn tired"
feels kind of fitting... |

Drumsticksby LevTComment by posthumous: it looks like he's levitating in some sort of corny heaven. the legs are perfectly positioned, not just mirroring the cones but just in a perfectly beautiful swirling curving position. |

Drumsticksby LevTComment by pawdrix: This is pretty funny. Not sure it moves me much but a nice coincidence, well seen. There are some parallels to this shot and my last FS entry. Cheers |
