Would loved to have seen him in his Glory days as a young man clean shaven out shreddin the waves. But this is cool, because we see him as he is now, older and still very much enjoying his life and hobby.

thanks for the comment! actually this is not the sun - it is a light on the roof of this little shack, the shot was taken about an hour after sunset (there is a hint to that in the title :). I think it is sufficiently sharp, it just feels soft because of the long exposure of the moving water. my favorite part of it is the people, especially the one on the right who lifted his arms up half-way through the exposure (or perhaps brought them down, now there is no way to tell :).
