Magnificent colors! Good lighting and pretty good DOF. I don't think I gave this shot enough credit on my first pass - it's quite good. (Bumping up) You've got a lot of good textures going on in this image, and I like the border.

The wires from the cage in the background are way too distracting and keep me from really focusing on the bird itself. Also, set against such a light background, the bird almost appears a silhouette, and doesn't do justice to what appears to be some really nice, colorful feathers.

Since I am lacking in technical skills, I cannot give helpful comments. I am strictly a photo buff who is trying to improve, but as to telling you what is wrong or right, I am in no position to say. I'd love to know where this photo was taken. I would be interested in vacationing there myself some day.

The mottled light on the people in the foreground is distracting. Under the given lighting conditions I think that composing the shot so that the figures were closer to the waterfall would have produced a stronger photograph.
