you look rather stressed out. i don't think the blue tint was neccessary, but it's probably resulting in higher votes here. i woulda gone with plain old black and white.

Very nice self portrait, with wonderful lighting. This fails to evoke blue for me though, as it looks more like he (you) are sleeping rather than sad. Good choice of black and white, and would do welll in a self portrait challenge, but I don't think this was the challeenge to enter it in. Logistically I love the detail, and focus, and the hair is very well lit. I like the contrast, and would have lighting the right side a little more, or maybe not, but definitely lowered the light on the left. Nice job with a self portrait! Those are tough!
