I am relieved that this isn't just another lemon shot. Nice composition. I want the pie to look either more perfect, or more messed up. It is kinda middle of the road. The lemon meringue pie that I remember (I haven't seen it in ages) has a filling that looks like glass when you cut it. It is a bias that isn't fair so I am not going to let it impact my vote. But I want, desperately for some reason, to see that glasslike image...6

It's yellow but there is the use of the flash, the composition (too busy and too centered) the background that fail the picture. Sorry don't tell me anything but a snapshot of the pie. Good luck!

Oh, man, this makes my mouth pucker! I love lemon pie :) Your colors, focus and dof are great. I'm thinking that a different composition would help -- the background elements seem to detract rather than add to the impact of this great photo. Just an opinion -- hope it's a little helpful.

like this - particularly your inclusion, and so strongly, of the fence - adds a sinister edge ot it, and takes it away from the bland shot it might otherwise have been. It has a feeling of ... well, not out-of-focus, but of not being quite sharp, and it bothers my vision a little.
